Frequently asked questions
How should I read the bars?
Each bar is scaled to the highest value among the brands you've selected for that metric. The brand with the longest bar wins that mineral category and gets the trophy badge.
Why is potassium '—' for some brands?
Many bottlers don't publish potassium values because they're trace amounts under 5 mg/L. We display a dash rather than guess.
Is higher always better?
It depends on your goal. Magnesium and calcium are usually positives. Sodium is a positive for athletes / electrolyte replacement, a negative for low-sodium diets. TDS is character, not quality — higher means more mineralised, not 'better'.
