How we research, verify and publish bottled water data
BotledWater.com is an independent directory. These rules govern every brand profile, comparison table and review on the site.
Official data only
pH, mineral content (calcium, magnesium, sodium, bicarbonate, TDS), sugar, electrolytes and source claims are taken from the bottler's official label, published water analysis or regulatory filing. We do not invent or estimate values.
Marketing claims are labeled
When a brand uses promotional language ("purest," "premium," "naturally alkaline," etc.) we either omit it or attribute it explicitly to the manufacturer. We never present marketing copy as independent fact.
No medical claims
BotledWater.com does not claim that any bottled water prevents, cures or treats any health condition. Mineral content is reported for comparison and educational purposes only. Consult a qualified professional for medical advice.
Categories kept distinct
We clearly distinguish natural mineral water, spring water, artesian water, purified water and flavored / enhanced waters. These are different products under U.S. FDA and EU regulation and we never blend them in rankings without saying so.
"Last verified" date on every brand
Each brand profile carries a Last verified date showing when we last checked the published label or analysis. Specifications change; the date tells you how current our snapshot is.
Sources are linked
Every product page links to the source of its mineral and nutrition data — typically the brand's official water analysis PDF, product page or a recognized regulatory database — so readers can verify the numbers themselves.
Corrections
If you are a brand representative or a reader who has spotted out-of-date specifications, an unattributed marketing claim, a missing source link or a category mislabel, please contact us and we will update the page and reset the Last verified date.
